A cute bistro run by a friendly French-Hainanese couple! We had a great introduction to the cuisine of the sunny island of Hainan - freshly homemade delicious food that is a welcome respite from the mass food options priced for tourists in Saint-Raphael. We spent 31 euros in total for 2 set meals including a main, drink and dessert each, and left feeling happy and full. Be sure to ask for the homemade chili sauce!

We ordered a Hainan chicken and a pork in caramel sauce, both were great, authentic: the meat tender and the seasoning an explosion of flavours. Service a bit slow because the small place is run by a husband and wife team. Worth waiting for.

The food was amazing. The staff are extremely welcoming. We tried the vegetarian dumplings and the vegetation noodle soup. It's the best Asian food I've made in Europe. The desserts were also amazing.

Although we only visit St. Raphael 3 to 4 times per year for a month or 2 each time, our first stop is always Fanny and Marc's bistro, Petite Hainan. My favorite, beuf a l'oignon is amazing as are all the dishes. I can say that because we've tried them all, many times.
It's odd, the owner is such a warm and friendly person, we have come to never saying, "Shall we go to Petite Hainan?" Instead it's, "Feel like Fanny's?" This place has many regulars, such as Gisèle, that you'll see again and again (always a good sign).
Think of Petite Hainan as a bistro with amazing food and an atmosphere like Cheers. (Us older folk will get it!)- Service

This wonderful little oasis of Hainan Province. Wonderful food from Chef Mom, and artwork by talented daughter. To both, bravo!!! They took such good care of us on our visit. Thank you. We will fondly remember Petite Hainan when back in the San Francisco area.

Wonderful place- super nice lady who prepares the food by herself, taste of it is really majestic: noodles, chicken soup, home made bubble tea and sweet version of bao dumplings. Hugely recommend❤️

Best dumplings I've ever had (had the fried ones with spinach)! The rest of the food was great as well. The same goes for the service, very friendly people. Prices are really fair, especially for the cote d'azur. All in all, highly recommended!

Wonderful little gem in Saint Raphael! You know you are getting a home cooked meal. The owner is wonderful and friendly. The noodle soup is delicious and we will definitely go back for more!

Absolutely incredible food! Will definitely be getting this again while in Saint-Raphael. So so so good. The owner/chef is so sweet as well. Made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.
